Alex and Morgan, along with their two little ones, are embracing every bit of family life here at Nexton. They’ve found the perfect balance between connection, nature, and those sweet everyday moments. From cozy evenings around the firepit to sweet moments baking cookies together in their dream kitchen, it’s safe to say they’ve found their happy place.
FAMILY TIME, NEXTON STYLE
Picture this: Alex and Morgan are relaxing by one of the firepits, glasses of wine in hand, while their kiddos run around and play. The sun’s setting, and there’s this wonderful calm that settles over the evening. You can just feel the sense of community - the togetherness.
This is family life at Nexton – those easy, joy-filled moments with the people you love, both inside your home and out in the neighborhood. Whether you’re gathered around the fire, bumping into neighbors at the park, or enjoying a spontaneous glass of wine outside while the kids make new friends, life here just flows – all right outside your door.

With over 10 miles of beautiful walking and biking trails, Alex and Morgan love taking family walks, enjoying the fresh air while the kids explore. And when playtime calls, there’s no shortage of parks and green spaces for the kids to run around while they catch up with friends. Community and family life naturally blend together here, and there’s always something new to discover – whether it’s a hidden gem along a trail or a new friend just around the corner. BAKING UP MEMORIES TOGETHER
But the fun doesn’t stop outdoors. Home at Nexton is where some of the sweetest memories are made. When the day winds down, Alex and Morgan gather in their beautiful kitchen with the kids to bake cookies – flour flying, chocolate chips sneaked, and laughter filling the room. The smell of fresh cookies baking is just a bonus. It’s these small, everyday moments that truly turn a house into a home.

For Alex and Morgan, knowing their kids are part of some of the best schools right here in the community makes everything that much better. Nexton Elementary is leading the charge, helping shape young minds with innovative programs like coding, 3D printing, and hands-on STEM activities (hello, nationally-ranked robotics club!).
And while their kids are still in the early years, Alex and Morgan are excited to know that Nexton Middle School is on the horizon. Slated to open in 2026, this new middle school will be a hub for grades 6-8, building on the district’s impressive track record for top-notch academics, extracurricular programs, and that “never-stop-learning” mindset we love so much.
From preschoolers at The Goddard School or KinderCare, all the way up to high schoolers prepping for their next chapter, the educational journey in Nexton is as seamless as it gets. It’s just one more reason why family life here is so wonderfully effortless and family-friendly.
