Meet the Vitale family - Tara, Carl, and their son Lorenzo, who have found their perfect slice of paradise in our sunny South Carolina neighborhood. For them, life at Nexton isn't just about a beautiful home - it's about being a part of a true community, basking in warm sunshine, and seizing endless opportunities for family fun and togetherness.
From the moment the Vitales visited Nexton, they knew they had found something special – a place where community, craftsmanship, and family life come together in perfect harmony. Tara and Carl were drawn to our neighborhood by the warm welcome they received from their future neighbors and the strong sense of home they immediately felt.
"Going out your front door and knowing all your neighbors, sharing a meal with them, just small talk while you're mowing the lawn, or getting invited to events in your neighborhood - it's like you have your little family outside of your own that's in your house. So, it’s really nice,” - Carl Vitale
For Tara, the allure of palm trees, sunshine, and endless outdoor activities was too good to resist. “It's exactly what we wanted for our family.” Warm weather was a must-have, coming from Connecticut, where it was cold and dark for much of the year. “When you think about South Carolina, you think of palm trees and sunshine all the time. There’s pickleball and tennis. There’s these beautiful landscapes all around, and there are the most beautiful birds...” she shared.
Lorenzo, the youngest Vitale, delights in cruising around on the golf cart to some friendly games of pickleball, running into friends in the community parks, and soaking up the South Carolina sun.
"It's quality of life for us," Carl notes, "and we feel like we've had the highest quality of life that we've ever had here." For Tara and Carl, the sense of belonging and connection they've found in Nexton is unmatched.

We felt like we didn't get that the last few times that we have built, now we tell everybody about David Weekly homes and how we were treated,” noted Carl. "We've lived in a lot of places, and we've never felt how we feel here and have that real sense of home."
