National Night Out at Nexton: Building a Stronger Community Together
Remember last year's epic National Night Out event with Lauren Hall Band? It was a picture-perfect evening with live music, the best company, and a great cause. In fact, the evening went so well, we're doing it again! Get ready for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Midtown Club.
A Night to Remember
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It's all about enhancing the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Across the nation, millions of neighbors come together for block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and other community events with safety demonstrations, youth activities, and more.
At Nexton, we love putting our own spin on this wonderful initiative. From live music and food trucks to glittery tattoos and friendly faces, NNO at Nexton is always a night to remember. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new neighbors and turn them into friends!
Exciting Addition: Redwood Materials Battery Collection
This year, we're thrilled to announce a special partnership with Redwood Materials as part of our commitment to sustainability and community building. Redwood Materials, a leader in battery recycling and manufacturing, recently announced their new Battery Materials Campus just outside Charleston. They’re set to bring more than 1,500 jobs to the area and invest $3.5 billion into the local community.
At National Night Out, Redwood Materials will be on-site hosting a battery collection initiative. This is a fantastic chance for us to contribute to a greener future. Bring any old batteries you have lying around, and Redwood will take care of recycling them in the most sustainable way possible. It’s a small action with a big impact, helping to reduce waste and support local manufacturing.
