From the primary years to high school, BCSD's dedicated teachers are on a mission to unleash the best in our youngsters. They're transforming the way teaching’s approached, with every school in the district exploring personalized learning. Proving that innovation is not an exception - but a way of life in our community.
BCSD's revolutionary commitment to innovation is evident in its practices. They have integrated programs like STEAM, multiage classrooms, and competency-based grading. Nexton Elementary, Cane Bay Elementary, Westview Elementary School, Cane Bay Middle School, Sangaree Middle School, Westview Middle School, Berkeley Preparatory Academy, and Cane Bay High School are all within easy reach. Plus, BCSO purchased land for a new Middle School in Midtown. They're currently working on engineering and architectural plans and working toward a 2025 opening!

Children who have been enrolled in their programs since they were babies outpace their peers in developmental milestones by a whopping six weeks by the time they're 2. By the age of 5, these kids are nearly nine months ahead. That's not all - children who attend KinderCare for a year or longer consistently demonstrate first-grade level skills in reading and math even before they step foot into elementary school!
