ONE NEXTON. (OR IS IT YUM NEXTON?)
A lot is happening at the crossroads of Brighton Park Boulevard and Nexton Parkway. Dubbed One Nexton, the new shopping center will bring together interesting shops, great restaurants, services, and the south’s favorite grocery store in one convenient location.
If you’re reading from afar, let us introduce you to Publix Super Market and why it’s a regional favorite. Well known for their dedication to hospitality and exceptional customer service, the grocery chain is also the largest employee-owned company in the United States. It’s considered a great place to work - whether you’re a high schooler picking up extra cash or a manager looking to lead a great team - and employee satisfaction shows through with every customer interaction.
The Nexton store will cover 48,000 square feet and offer Publix’s signature prepared foods (fried chicken…we’re coming for you!), sandwich deli, and a high-quality selection of goods and groceries. With Publix right in the community, grocery shopping will be a pleasure!
Nearby, you’ll be delighted to know a new Mexican restaurant is also on its way, as well as an Italian-Pizza restaurant called Woodhaven Pizza, and Dulce, an elevated-ice cream shop, for satisfying your sweet tooth.
A wine and spirits shop, too, will be located in the Publix-anchored shopping center. Bank with 3rd and 5th Bank? They’re coming to Nexton, as is a new nail salon and dentist.
One Nexton will also be home to a 351-unit apartment community complete with an infinity pool, dog park, artificial turf “play” lawn, hammock grove, grills and fire pits, and more.
