Frosé All Day: Co-Op Coming to Nexton
What happens when one of the Charleston region's most popular, talked-about eateries lands smack in the middle of the best master planned community in the USA? Hold your horses. We're about to find out!
It's true. The Co-Op, one of the region's favorite beach spots, is making its way inland. Opening in The Hub at Nexton this summer, the locally born gourmet deli + coffee spot + frosé purveyor is bringing all the things you love about their original Sullivan's Island shop to Summerville.
But it's more than the great food and drink that has people talking about the Co-Op. Fresh-made sandwiches and frosé are served in a laid-back, anything-goes atmosphere amidst a flurry of vibrant neon-pink decor and murals of pop culture key players.
Their online presence, too, has power. You'll find a community-first attitude - they partner with more local makers and creators than we can keep up with - and philanthropic vibe that's as heartwarming as it is genuine.
If you're just getting to know The Co-Op, start with this interview we did with their marketing manager, Jenny:
For the foodies: you're going to love their fresh and flavorful menu. Salads, signature sandwiches, and breakfast foods will compliment Nexton's already diverse offering. Whether you're in the mood for a tuna salad sammie or something a little more adventurous, like the Cowboy Chicken sandwich (chicken, bacon, avocado, mixed greens, ranch on brioche), you're sure to find something you'll love. And dollar coffee every day? Yes, please!
If you're still reading for the details on the frosé, we hear you! We can expect all the yumminess from their other locations, from the OG flavors to the rotating menu of creative and ever-culturally relevant new ones (à la "Lavender Haze" that's currently making a splash. Yes, Swifties, you read that right). Get a single serving to enjoy on the lawn out front, or take home a full bottle to sip at your leisure.
Thanks to a company culture that's welcoming, open-minded, and endlessly positive, you'll feel right at home at the Co-Op. Stay tuned for details on a grand opening!
