On Thursday we celebrated a milestone here in our growing community: the grand opening of our third village, Del Webb Nexton! Hundreds of community members and potential homeowners joined us at the region’s newest active adult community as Mayor Wiley Johnson, Pulte Group Division President Charlie Tipton, and other Del Webb folks officially cut the ribbon.
Six designer model homes were debuted, each capturing a variety of home styles and sizes, as well as Del Webb’s dedication to innovation and built-in convenience. Del Webb’s six decades of homebuilding experience allow them to deliver homes designed for how you live today, along with the features that matter most to you. And a dedication to quality means they strive to exceed homeowner expectations every step of the way.
At Del Webb Nexton, you can choose from ten single-family home designs in sizes ranging from two-to-five bedrooms and two-to-four baths. Homes range from 1,200 square feet to 3,800 square feet and start in the mid $200,000s. At completion, Del Webb Nexton will house more than 1,000 new homes on about 350 acres. All with new exterior styles that fit beautifully with Nexton’s fresh take on Lowcountry architecture.
Life outside the home is just as joyful at Del Webb Nexton. Catch a trail down to the Core for a few laps in the pool, to sit and chat with the neighbors or just to hang out with a latte and a good book. There you’ll also find sports courts, a fitness center and rooms for clubs and other activities. Homeowners will also have access to Nexton’s signature nature trails, parks, and an event lawn.
They’ll also benefit from proximity to Nexton’s growing list of restaurants and retail. Nexton Square is home to employers like SCRA, Volvo, and Aeterna Zentaris, as well as a 100,00 square foot Class A Medical Office Building that will house primary and specialty care services, imaging, lab, and an urgent care center. The Medical Office Building will integrate specialty care services including gastroenterology, endocrinology, internal medicine, urology, physical therapy and clinic research.
But Nexton Square is also a place where you can stop by for a brew and a burger at Carolina Ale House, grab a cappuccino at Starbucks or catch an outdoor concert at Brown Family Park. Soon, Taco Boy, Hall’s Chophouse and a slew of other regionally renowned restaurants will call Nexton Square home. Even closer to home will be Harris Teeter, situated at the corner of Brighton Park Boulevard and Nexton Parkway.
